This is just the most adorable little flower fairy. I so love that she has hot pink hair! Once upon a time I also sported hot pink streaks in my brown hair. Isn't she cute?
I recently traded a Lemondrop ATC for this one drawn by the talented Mike R. Baker of Knack for Art. He also has a blog Mike R. Baker's Art Exchange just for showcasing ATCs, both the great ones that he makes but also the ones that he receives from various artists.
If you're not familiar with ATCs, or Artist Trading Cards, they are similar to the concept of baseball trading cards. The size is 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" and they can be made of anything as long as they will hold up to trading. So if you like to do art with tissue paper you'll have to then mount it to cardstock or something sturdy. I prefer to make fabric ones so I'll sew them to timtex or some other type of sturdy interfacing and layer a thin piece of muslin on the back for signing them.
